Descrizione:

Questo corso fornisce le competenze e le conoscenze per implementare e gestrire un ambiente di virtualizzazione server basato sulle tecnologie Microsoft.
 
Durante il corso gli allievi impareranno a gestire Hyper-V e Remote Desktop Services in ambiente Windows Server 2008 R2. Inoltre si vedrà come gestire l'ambinte di virtualizzazione utilizzando le tecnologie della suite System Center (Virtual Machine Manager, Operations Manager, Data Protection Manager, Configuration Manager).
 
Il corso non prevede una precedente esperienza in ambito virtualizzazione. E' però richiesta esperienza di lavoro in ambito Windows Server 2008.
 
PREREQUISITI
 
Per partecipare con profitto a questo corso è necessario che gli allievi possiedano i seguenti prerequisiti:
 
  • esperienza in ambito amministrazione di sistemi;
  • comprensione dei concetti di base di virtualizzazione server;
  • comprensione delle caratteristiche di una rete Windows-based, compreso Active Directory;
  • comprensione delle tecnologie di storage;
  • comprensione del failover clustering in ambiente Windows Server 2008.
 
OBIETTIVI
 
Al termine del corso gli allievi saranno in grado di:
 
  • comprendere e distinguere virtualizzazione, server, virtualizzazione desktop e applicativa;
  • descrivere come utilizzare System Center per gestire l'infrastruttura di virtualizzazione;
  • valutare un ambiente di rete ai fini della virtualizzazione server;
  • progettare l'implementazione del ruolo Hyper-V;
  • gestire le impostazioni di Hyper-V e delle Virtual Networks;
  • creare e configurare virtual machine;
  • gestire gli snapshot delle virtual machine;
  • gestire e manutenere il Virtual Machine Connection Tool;
  • creare una macchina virtuale usando System Center Virtual Machine Manager R2 (SCVMM);
  • convertire un server fisico in virtual machine;
  • convertire e migrare virtual machine;
  • clonare virtual machine;
  • descrivere le principali operazioni e le principali impostazioni da eseguire con System Center Virtual Machine Manager R2 (SCVMM);
  • comprendere la VMM Library;
  • gestire profili e template;
  • progettare la fault tolerance per la VMM Library;
  • configurare i ruoli utente in VMM;
  • installare e configurare il VMM Self-Service Portal;
